Monday, March 27th - Book Club
Book Club will be discussing The Vinegar Girl by
Ann Tyler, 11am-12pm. This modern day retelling of Sakespeare's The
Taming of the Shrew is on of several of his works created for the
Saturday, April 8th - Annual Open House
year we'll kickoff National Library Week with our Annual Open House.
As always we'll serve homemade pies. Come sit a spell &
have a slice.
Thursday, April 20th, 7pm - Local Author Series
Local Author Series presents Mary Lawrence, creator of the Bianca
Goddard mysteries which take place during the early reign of Henry
VIII, not in castles but in the crowded neighborhoods of common people.
Borrow one of her engrossing historical novels before her visit
or pick up a copy that night.
Monday, April 24th - Book Club
Book Club will be discussing The Hundred-Foot Journey
by Richard Morais. It is a story about how the hundred-foot
distance between a new Indian restaurant and a traditional French one
represents the gulf between different cultures and desires.
